Tuesday 4th August

Monday was busy day training clients, but rest for me !
Tuesday Rpm class followed by 4Km run, wipes your legs big time, coming off bike and hitting the running !
Still feeling very lethargic and not losing fat or weight, hoping nothing wrong, think my body may still be adapting to new regime ?

Latest Update

Friday was (as always) RPM in the morning, that was it
Saturday meant a little bit of swimming (and some flumes ) as had planned to do road race on Sunday
No road race today, so 90 minute cycle then 20 min run.
Long beach walk then some boules on beach, making up games and rules as we went, also received my new (well some of them) competition kettlebells today

Wednesday's Workouts

Another good day, getting easier to motivate myself to train, without making up or listenung to the usual old excuses !
This morning saw the return of the kettlebells, if I'm being honest being avoiding them as I know how much I've let myself slip with them. If you know kettlebells, you'll know how unforgiving they are !
Workout consisted of 2 Kettlebell snatches for time, embarrassingly only lasted 3 mins, 1 minute rest then 3 mins again !
Moved onto 1 KB snatches fro 2 sets of 2 mins
Next up was snatches, 3mins each side with one arm swings to finish off.
This afternoon I scouted out the route for Sundays cycle race, tough course, I covered 2 laps today (8 laps on Sunday) 30K ride including to start of circuit and back, 1 hour so not too bad a workout

Tuesday 28th July

6.15a.m RPM Class today, played old cd, brilliant class, all the guys worked really hard !
This afternoon's workout was a mini circuit, 8 pull ups, 10 dips, 12 jackknives X 5sets minimal or no rest, quick but effective !

Weekend training

Saturday, rested up for Bike race on Sunday
Sundays bike race, round most of Jersey, taking in nearly every bay, which means HILLS ! I managed to get stuck between 2 groups, so did most of it on my own, which led to me taking 2 wrong turns !! Adding some 5KM and 2 hills onto route, needless to say came last after that, but 2.5 hours hard cycling done :)
Tired old body today, so resting up for big day tomorrow

Friday's Workout

Nice day today, took RPM class, then rested, legs feeling it from yesterdays ride, plus I have hard, hilly road race on Sunday !!
Going to need to start hammering the kettlebells now, to boost the fat loss and get my strength up from tmrw

THURSDAY 23rd

Another good training day ! Completed 38KM of road race we're (myself and Jason) doing on Sunday.
1 hour 20 mins ride today, with 3 good hills and a very good pace set, starting to get my bike fitness back now :)

Just a run

Feeling tired from yesterdays exploits, so just a 40min run today, was good as had my new trainers on, not any faster than my old ones though, bit gutted about that ! hee hee

Tuesday 21st July

Hard day today, but very good 1
6a.m RPM class, very hard and good, even if I say so myself !
11am Bike run with jason, 1hour fast pace and some cheeky hills thrown in for good measure.
6.30pm My first Bikram Yoga class, very very very HOT ! and very very very tiring, think I may be made of wood !

Last week

OOOOOPS !!! Forgot to post training for last week !

Still on it, mostly RPM and cycling this week, so all good.
Was at a white collar boxing night last night which also proved the difference people can make, to their lives, fitness and weight loss in only 10 weeks these guys had. Plus learning how to box, which is no mean feat.

Training for Today

Superset Pull ups and Jack knife Press ups (thought we were doing 5 sets, but Jason added 2 extra on ?!?!?) Then 20 and 24Kg single then double kettlebell jerks.
Eating a lot better now too, starting to feel a whole lot better already :-)
Also agreed to take part in road race (cycling) this Sunday

TUESDAY - RPM Class 6.15 am, Afternoon Pull up and Dips Superset 5 Sets
WEDNESDAY Bike Run to Gorey and back, fast pace bit windy too
Getting backi nto it now, not so much of a chore, got some good workouts planned and my food is getting better, mostly due to better preperation

35 minute run at 9.00a.m.
P.M Workout with 24kg kettlebell- single clean and press 30secs on/off 5 sets each side, 2 minutes active recovery on Treadmill. 24kg kettlebell single squats 30secs in/off 5 sets each side, 2 minutes active recovery Treadmill, 24kg kettlebell 5reps X 5 sets 2-24kg kettlebell clean, press, squat.
